We have access to a new and important risk management tool: Epidemic Risk Insurance. This is designed to protect organizations against loss of income due to disease epidemics (and pandemics). A timely subject for us all. Limits of up to $50M are available with policy terms of up to two years. This does not apply to the current Covid -19 pandemic but is available for any future unforeseen similar disasters! Did you know we’ve had 11 since the year 2000? Remember Avian Flu? SARS? Swine Flu?
